3 to 6 dressed squirrels, cut into serving size pieces or
1 to 2 dressed rabbits, cut into serving size pieces
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Salt and pepper to taste
Place squirrel or rabbit pieces into the crockpot. Mix
all ingredients in a small bowl and pour over meat. Cover and cook
on low heat for 7 to 8 hours.
If you like a thicker gravy, mix a little cornstarch
in warm water, add to crock pot juice and cook on high until thickened.
Salt and pepper as desired.
