Poppin’ Pound Cake
3 sticks butter
3 cups sugar
5 whole eggs
1 teaspoon imitation butter flavoring
3 cups flour
1 cup Sprite or 7UP
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter. Add sugar, one cup at a time, mixing after each addition. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing after each addition. Next, add butter flavoring and mix well. Add flour, one cup at a time, mixing after each addition. Add soda pop; mix until well combined.
Pour into a greased Bundt pan and bake for 60 to 70 minutes. Remove cake from oven and invert pan to release the cake.
